This week Microsoft released a guide aimed at helping gamers recapture those extra frames simply by restricting two features in Windows. This prompted many consumers to downgrade to Windows 10.
Numerous gamers are reporting that Windows 11 is also affecting their in-game performance, even after trying fixes like disabling VBS, which we’ve found could improve frame rates fairly consistently. And overall, some people think Windows 11 just feels less “snappy” than Windows 10 (myself included).
